Foundation for ASM Development (FADev) is an independent non-Governmental Organization (NGO) established to catalyse multi-stakeholder dialogue, knowledge sharing and collaboration among stakeholders in the Artisanal and Small-scale Mining (ASM) sector in Tanzania. FADev is registered under the Non-Governmental Organizations Act, 2002 with registration No. 00NGO/R/0251.

FADev is currently looking for an expert to prepare an Environmental Protection Plan (EPP)  for 3 ASM sites in Geita Region as stipulated in section 3 and 4 of the Mining ACT (2010), and according to the objectives of  Foundation for ASM Development (FADev) that seeks to promote Artisanal and Small-scale Mining (ASM) best practices focusing on: good governance, legal compliance, decent work with emphasis on gender perspectives, social responsibility  and environmental responsibility.

Interested experts should download Terms or Reference (TOR), and submit a detailed expression of interest (EoI). Deadline for submission is Monday, 6^th July 2020.
